Heading back – Anacondas & Co

After a decent breakfast at Casa de Caboclo, our boat driver Frank picked us up.

On our way back to the port, we saw a boat with a dead ANACONDA, the first I’ve ever seen in my life! Daniel, the pousada owner, to whom we gave a ride to the port, told us that the fishermen killed the anaconda because they were scared but that the anacondas usually don’t attack you. Hm, ok… I leave it like that 😛

We decided that Ilha do Guajiru would be our halfway point to Cumbuco. From Delta do Parnaíba to Ilha do Guajiru it took us about 3-4h. We had a warm welcome by Gianluca (Casa Suiça) and Monica&Gigi (Casa da bruxa). It was nice to be back at my favorite spot of the trip and to be able to enjoy the flat-water lagoon one more time. Even though we were tired from the drive, we decided to go kiting right away. I was on my 6m Cabrinha Siren and Paul on my 8m Cabrinha Siren.

Good-bye, paradise! Tomorrow we are off to Cumbuco. Our vacation is coming to an end 🙁
