TRIANGL bikini review from a Kitesurfer’s point of view

Lots of women have a thing for shoes. Me? I’m a bikini girl. I absolutely love bikinis. But finding the right bikini for kitesurfing has been an ongoing challenge for me for years. On Instagram I stumbled upon the TRIANGL bikinis and let myself get sucked into the hype. Could these bikinis made of neoprene be the ones that I have been looking for for years? Here is my TRIANGL bikini review – from a kitesurfer’s point of view:

PKRA Germany – the biggest Event of the Kitesurf World Tour

This year is already my 9th time at the PKRA tour stop in Germany. The first event in Germany was held in 2006. At that time I worked for the organization. In 2012 I competed under the Venezuelan flag in the PKRA at the German and Venezuelan tour stop and I was actually ranked #7 in the world for a short time 😉

5 Caribbean Islands in 3 Weeks – BARBADOS

I have always wondered how kitesurfing in Barbados is and what the island has to offer. It was my wish to spend my birthday on an other Caribbean Island. Of course I also wanted to celebrate a bit so we decided that we would finish up our Island hopping with Barbados as the island has both – kitesurfing and nightlife.

Taaroa Sword Foil Girl

I love Paul’s video “Foiling in Venezuela” and he inspired me to do my own foiling video – the girl’s version. It took me quite some time to create the video especially finding license free music that matches my ideas. I wanted to do a video that’s fun to watch. So I hope you like it!

Raley to Blind – El Yaque | Coche Island

So finally here it is: My first video edited with Final Cut Pro. I bought the license for the song from Beatpick. The videos are shot with GoPros in Coche Island and El Yaque. In Coche I was training with my 2013 Cabrinha Xo Caliber board 129cm with foot straps. I’m still getting used to boots. In El Yaque I used my 2014 XCaliber Alberto Rondina Signature Carbon board 132cm with boots. And of course my so loved 2014 Cabrinha Siren kites 😉

Araya – Venezuela’s Secret Flat Water Kitesurf Spot

We booked the trip with Araya Kitesafari. Departure time from El Yaque was 6am arriving in Araya 1,5 hours later. We checked in to our posada and were served breakfast almost immediately. Around 11am we took the boat to the kitespot. The wind was very strong this time and we barely did unhooked tricks. But the water was flat as usual and everybody had a great time boosting big jumps and old school tricks. Around 5pm the girls decided to kite back to the posada followed by the boat with the rest of the group. Arriving at the beach in front of the posada, we did jumps and tricks impressing the locals so much that they wanted to take photos with us once we landed our kites. It was a great first day.
